The questions people actually ask before they connect an account.
Do I need a Pinterest business account?
No. A personal account connects and publishes the same way. What a business account gets you is Pinterest's own analytics, which JuzPost does not pull in. If you want reach and save numbers, read them on Pinterest.
Can one Pin go to several boards at once?
No. A Pin belongs to one board, so it is one board per account per post. JuzPost loads your live board list and you pick the destination before you can schedule. To cover a second board, schedule a second Pin to it.
What happens if I delete a board that has Pins queued?
Boards are yours to edit, so JuzPost re-checks the board at the moment the Pin fires rather than trusting what was true when you scheduled. A board deleted last week fails with a clear message instead of a silent error, and the post stays in the dashboard so you can pick another board and reschedule.
Which image files can I upload?
JPEG and PNG, up to 20MB each. Pinterest's API rejects WebP and GIF, and JuzPost does not convert files, so convert before you upload. Aim for 2:3 at 1000 x 1500. Pins taller than 2:3 can get cut off in the feed. A carousel Pin holds 2 to 5 images and publishes them in the order you arranged them.
Can I schedule video Pins?
Yes. MP4, MOV or M4V, at least 4 seconds long and up to 2GB. A video Pin posts on its own rather than alongside images. The cover is the frame you picked, or the first frame if you did not pick one. JuzPost registers the upload at send time instead of at schedule time, so it cannot expire while the Pin waits in the queue.
How long can a Pin title and description be?
The title is 100 characters, and roughly the first 40 show in the feed, so put the point at the front. The description is 500 characters in JuzPost. Our free Pinterest character counter measures against the same limits.
