Schedule Threads posts and reply chains
Write the post once, pick the time, and JuzPost publishes it to your Threads profile while you are doing something else. The same text goes to every other network you post to.
7 day free trial. Cancel any time during the trial and you pay nothing.
One post, every account
Upload once and send it to your Threads profile and every other network in the same action. No re-uploading the same file over and over.
Your timezone, your slots
Set the workspace timezone once. Every time you type is that timezone, on every device, with saved posting times as one-tap picks.
One price, not per channel
Your plan counts connected accounts in total, across every network. Adding Threads does not add a line to your bill.
Built for the way Threads works
Threads has its own rules. JuzPost already knows them.
One topic tag per post, 500 characters, and links that spend every character they contain. The composer handles the difference so you are not reading Meta's developer docs at 11pm.
Topic tags
Threads takes one topic tag. Pick it on purpose.
On X or Instagram you can stack tags at the bottom of a post. Threads attaches one topic tag per post, so the choice carries more weight. Plan the tag, do not stack them. The composer reads your text and flags the second tag before the post goes out.
- One tag per post, checked while you write
- Keep the stacked tags on X and Instagram, trim them for Threads
- A different version per account, not just per platform

Limits
500 characters, and a link spends every one of them
A Threads post is 500 characters, and a reply gets the same 500. Threads does not shorten URLs, so a long link costs its full length. Most emoji cost 2 units or more. The counter in the composer already works this way, so the number you see is the number Threads will count.
- Live count against 500, for the post and for each reply
- A warning before you go over, not a failed post afterwards
- Image and video checked against the spec before it is queued
What fits in one post
Scheduling
A month of Threads posts, planned in one sitting
Batch the whole month, drop each post on a day, and leave. Write the base post once and the same words go to your other networks, with the Threads version cut to 500 and down to one tag. Scheduling runs on our own servers, so nothing depends on your laptop being awake at 8am on a Saturday.
- Month and week views, filtered by account
- Anything from 5 minutes out to months ahead
- Scheduled, posted, drafts and failed in one list

FAQ
Threads, specifically.
The questions people actually ask before they connect an account.
How many hashtags can I put on a Threads post?
One. Threads attaches a single topic tag to a post, which is where it differs from X and Instagram, where you can stack them. So plan the tag instead of listing five. If your base text carries a stack of tags for the other networks, the Threads version needs trimming, and the composer says so before you schedule.
How long can a Threads post be?
500 characters, and a reply gets the same 500. Two things eat into that faster than people expect. Links count at full length, because Threads does not shorten URLs, and most emoji cost 2 units or more. Our free Threads character counter counts the same way.
Do I need an Instagram account?
In most countries a Threads profile is created through Instagram, so that is the usual route. Standalone signup with an email address or a phone number exists in the EU, the UK, Switzerland and some other regions, and it is still rolling out. Check what is offered where you are before you plan around either answer.
What are the image and video specs?
Images: JPEG or PNG, 8MB at most, 320 to 1440 pixels wide, aspect up to 10:1, sRGB. Video: MOV or MP4 with H264 or HEVC, up to 300 seconds and 1GB, 9:16 recommended, 23 to 60 fps. A carousel holds 2 to 20 items and still counts as one post.
Can I schedule a reply chain?
Threads supports replies through a reply parameter, so a post can be built as a chain: the opening post, then each reply attached to the one before it. Every part of the chain gets its own 500 characters, which is the usual way round the limit on a longer thought.
Is there a cap on how much I can publish?
Threads allows 250 published posts and 1,000 replies per profile in any rolling 24 hours through the API, which is far above a normal publishing rhythm. The one number worth knowing is the floor: a scheduled post needs at least 5 minutes of lead time.
