Thank you for using JuzPost ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal and non-personal information when you use our website located at https://www.juzpost.com (the "Website").

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described in this policy, please do not use the Website.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Data

We collect the following personal information from you:

  • Account details: your name, email address and sign-in credentials.
  • Billing details: your plan, billing status and invoices. Card details are entered with our payment provider and never reach our servers.
  • Social account access keys: the OAuth tokens and basic profile details of the social accounts you connect, so we can publish on your behalf.
  • Your content: the posts, captions, media files, schedules and workspace settings you create in JuzPost.
  • AI app connections: the details described in section 6 when you connect an AI app such as ChatGPT or Claude.

1.2 Non-Personal Data

We use web cookies and product analytics to collect non-personal information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and browsing patterns. This information helps us to enhance your browsing experience, analyze trends, and improve our services.

2. Purpose of Data Collection

We use your data to run your account, publish and schedule posts to the social accounts you connect, carry out actions you ask an AI app to perform through JuzPost, process payments, send service emails about your account and posts, provide customer support, keep the service secure, and understand how the product is used so we can improve it.

3. YouTube API Services

JuzPost uses YouTube API Services to enable cross-posting functionality to YouTube. By using our service to interact with YouTube, you are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.

4. Google Privacy Policy

As we use YouTube API Services, your data may also be subject to Google's Privacy Policy. For more information on how Google collects and processes data, please refer to theGoogle Privacy Policy.

5. Who Receives Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with these categories of recipients:

  • Social platforms you publish to: the content and media of each post, sent to the accounts you choose, including YouTube through the YouTube API Services.
  • AI apps you connect: the results of the actions the app performs for you, such as your workspace details, connected accounts and posts (see section 6).
  • Service providers: companies that host and run JuzPost for us, covering hosting, database, file storage, sign-in, payments, email and analytics. They process data only to provide those services.
  • Authorities: when the law requires it.

6. AI App Connections

You can connect an AI app, such as ChatGPT or Claude, to a JuzPost workspace. The app then acts on that workspace with the permissions you approve.

  • What we store: the app's name and the addresses it returns to after sign-in, the permissions you granted, the workspace it acts on, and access keys stored only as one-way hashes. Posts created through an app record which app created them.
  • What we receive: only the requests the app sends to perform an action, such as the text and media of a post. We do not receive your conversation with the app.
  • What the app receives: the results of those actions. The AI app's own privacy policy governs what it does with them.
  • Retention: access keys expire after 24 hours and renewal keys after 30 days of disuse. An app registration expires after 90 days, and an app's published details are refreshed every 7 days.
  • Your controls: disconnect an app at any time under Settings, Connections. Disconnecting revokes its keys immediately.

7. Children's Privacy

JuzPost is not intended for children, and we do not collect any data from children.

8. Updates to the Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Users will be notified of any changes via email.

10. Data Protection Mechanisms

We take the protection of your sensitive data seriously and have implemented the following security measures:

a) Encryption: Your OAuth access keys are encrypted using industry-standard encryption protocols both in transit and at rest.

While we implement these security measures to protect your sensitive information, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, but we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

General retention: we keep your account details, content and connected accounts for as long as your account and workspace exist. Disconnecting a social account deletes its stored access keys. Deleting a workspace deletes its posts, media, connected accounts and AI app connections. Deleting your account, after you delete or hand over the workspaces you own, deletes your sign-in details, memberships, billing records, API keys and AI app connections. Our payment provider keeps its own payment records under its own policy.

Your controls: you can edit your content, disconnect social accounts and AI apps, delete a workspace or delete your account from JuzPost at any time, or email support@juzpost.com to ask for a copy or deletion of your data.

This section describes how we retain and delete your data, including data obtained through Google APIs (YouTube). JuzPost's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What Google data we store: when you connect a YouTube channel, we store your OAuth access and refresh tokens (encrypted at rest) and basic channel details returned by the YouTube Data and Analytics APIs: channel ID, title, thumbnail, and aggregate statistics (subscriber, view, and video counts and recent views/watch-time). We do not store the contents of your videos beyond the upload we perform on your behalf.

Retention: we retain this data only for as long as your YouTube channel remains connected and your JuzPost account is active, because it is required to upload and schedule videos on your behalf and to show you which channel is linked.

Deletion on disconnect: when you disconnect a YouTube channel in JuzPost, we revoke the OAuth tokens with Google and delete the stored tokens and associated channel data from our systems.

Deletion on account closure: when you delete your JuzPost account, all connected accounts and the Google/YouTube data described above are deleted.

Your controls: you may disconnect a channel at any time from the Connected Accounts page, or revoke JuzPost's access directly from your Google Account permissions page. You may also request deletion of your data by contacting us at support@juzpost.com.
