We take the protection of your sensitive data seriously and have implemented the following security measures:
a) Encryption: Your OAuth access keys are encrypted using industry-standard encryption protocols both in transit and at rest.
While we implement these security measures to protect your sensitive information, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, but we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
This section describes how we retain and delete your data, including data obtained through Google APIs (YouTube). JuzPost's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What Google data we store: when you connect a YouTube channel, we store your OAuth access and refresh tokens (encrypted at rest) and basic channel details returned by the YouTube Data and Analytics APIs — channel ID, title, thumbnail, and aggregate statistics (subscriber, view, and video counts and recent views/watch-time). We do not store the contents of your videos beyond the upload we perform on your behalf.
Retention: we retain this data only for as long as your YouTube channel remains connected and your JuzPost account is active, because it is required to upload and schedule videos on your behalf and to show you which channel is linked.
Deletion on disconnect: when you disconnect a YouTube channel in JuzPost, we revoke the OAuth tokens with Google and delete the stored tokens and associated channel data from our systems.
Deletion on account closure: when you delete your JuzPost account, all connected accounts and the Google/YouTube data described above are deleted.
Your controls: you may disconnect a channel at any time from the Connected Accounts page, or revoke JuzPost's access directly from your Google Account permissions page. You may also request deletion of your data by contacting us at [email protected].
