Can JuzPost post photo carousels to TikTok?
No. TikTok publishing here is video. If you want a photo post, make it in the TikTok app. Every other part of the schedule works the same way, so your video posts still go out on time next to everything else you have queued.
How long can a TikTok caption be?
2,200 characters. Our counter measures in UTF-16, the same way TikTok counts, so emoji and non-Latin scripts come out at the right number instead of a guess. Hashtags and mentions sit inside the caption text and count towards the same 2,200.
What are the video specs?
MP4 is the recommended container, with WebM and MOV also accepted. Up to 4GB. Each side between 360 and 4096 pixels, and 23 to 60 fps. How long a video you are allowed to post depends on the posting privilege your own creator account holds.
Why do I have to pick a privacy level every time?
Because TikTok asks for one and there is no safe default to guess. JuzPost reads the live list of options your account actually offers and shows only those, which may be public, friends, followers or only me. Nothing is pre-selected, and you cannot schedule until you choose.
How does the commercial content disclosure work?
Turn the disclosure on and pick "Your brand" or "Branded content". Publishing stays blocked until one of them is chosen, which is what TikTok requires. Branded content cannot be posted as "only me", so that privacy option is removed while it is on.
Will my connection expire and drop a scheduled post?
The access token lasts 24 hours and the refresh token lasts a year. TikTok issues a new refresh token on every renewal and JuzPost saves it, so a post scheduled for next month does not fail because a token aged out. Connecting uses TikTok's own login with PKCE, and asks for three permissions: read your display name and avatar, upload video, and publish with a caption and a privacy setting.
